What is the Change Maker Travel Program?
The Changemaker Travel Program is a global journey of learning, storytelling, and action.
For over seven years, they have been filming and exploring powerful solutions to protect reefs, rivers, rainforests, glaciers, and communities on the frontlines of change. Through this program, students, families, schools, and conscious travelers are invited to connect with these initiatives, join hands-on projects, and experience intergenerational collaboration in action.
By combining films, workshops, and direct engagement with local changemakers, the program transforms travel into a meaningful way to regenerate and protect the planet’s natural ecosystems while inspiring the next generation of global citizens.

Our Mission
The Plastic Free Boy Team, featuring Arlian Ecker, Film Presenter, and his Mother, Karin Ecker, a Professional Documentary Filmmaker, shares films and stories from Reefs, Rivers, Rainforests, Glaciers, and Global Ecosystems to inspire students, families, and travelers to become Change Makers for a Sustainable Future.
Since Arlian was 11, Karin has documented Arlian's Change Maker Learning Journey, engaging in global solutions and uniting families, students, and communities in over 350 schools to protect and regenerate our planet’s ecosystems together.
